My Delight

My delight is not only by the great Dimaggio, but she comes from an exceptional dam line of winning dressage horses. She herself has competed and won or was placed on most outings (BD has lost most of her competition record!). She is a big moving, extravagant horse, with a wonderful temperament. Her dam ‘Maybe Mine’ produced a string of winning progeny including:

•MY DAY (By Demonstrator - Out of Maybe Mine) 355 dressage points. Represented GB at FEI Inter I ridden by Paul Hayler and produced by Dan Sherriff up to Advanced Medium.

•MY-ROO-B-ROO (By Baron B - Out of Maybe Mine) 158 dressage points. Roo-B also took Champion 5 year old Future Dressage Horse of the Year title in 1994 and Best British Bred. She won Future competition Horse classes and 2nd at Herts County in Lightweight Hunter.

•MY-EASTER-MOON (By Baron B - Out of Maybe Mine) 241 dressage points. She took Reserve Champion at The Suffolk County show and won the Future Competition Broodmare title.

•MY BONANZA (Out of My Bonny-B-Anna……Roo-B-Roo’s full sister). >163 dressage points My Bonanza is owned and trained by a British International rider, Sharon Edwards (Ne Dodds).

•MY DESTINY (By Dimaggio - Out of My Roo-B-Roo). 258 dressage points ridden in 2014 by Amy Stovold.

•My Bonny- B-Anna (By Baron B – Out of Maybe Mine) who is owned by Jane Kingsley and has been on loan to Seagry Stud for the 2009/10 breeding season. She produced a fabulous colt foal by Belissimo M in June 2010.

•ROOSTER (Maybe Mine’s full brother) 357 dressage points. He also won show hunter classes/working hunter plus a newcomers (BSJA) and went on to win 1 (and a 2-day) BHS affiliated horse trials with Jackie Bickley.

•All of the above are the fruit of the breeding programme of Jane Kingsley.

My Delight is by the sought-after sire Dimaggio who brings with him the blood of Donnerhall, World Cup I and Don Primero.

Breeding Programme:

My Delight produced her first foal in 2011 by San Amour. A lovely filly (Seagry Diamour) and her second foal in 2013 by Don Frederic (Seagry Donnadiva). She is back in foal for 2014 again to the stunning young stallion Don Frederic.
