Seagry Viceroy ' Roy' is a very special embryo transfer gelding foal by Vitalis out of Elite Hanoverian Mare Seagry Firstamour (Amy). He has an outstanding temperament and three very special paces. His frame and size are exactly what you would expect from Vitalis whilst his beauty and active hind leg are inherited through his dam. This colt is very special and will suit an ambitious amateur or professional.
THE DAM: Amy a dark bay filly (11/05/14) is herself an embryo transfer mare who achieved a top average score of 8.0 at her Hanoverian performance test where she was the highest scoring mare. She is beautifully produced and competed by Abi Hutton. Amy is a truly exceptional mare out of the amazing St Pr St Seagry Sanay (Saucy).
THE GRAND DAM: Seagry Sanay (Saucy) is ridden and trained by the gifted Charlie Hutton and has just done her first Inter 2 and CDI Small Tour's at Bolesworth International and Hartpury International. Saucy also won the PSG at the Hickstead Premier League show in 2017 with a direct qualification through to the national Championships. She is training at Grand Prix and is already performing the all important piaff, passage, tempi changes and pirouettes etc. She has exceptional ability for the collected work.
THE SIRE: Vitalis is one of the worlds most sought after dressage stallions. With Isabel Freese, Vitalis won the 2016 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals for German Developing Prix St Georges horses. Whilst his daughter Victoria’s Secret became the 2016 World Young Horse Champion in Ermelo. He went on to win the Intermédiaire I and was particularly distinguished as “Stallion of the Year”. Vitalis is already heralded as a dominant, prepotent stallion who’s stamp is easily recognizable in his offspring, especially in regards to frame and size. He passes a nice shape and topline and a good active front leg action and uphill carriage. He produces friendly foals with super temperaments suitable for both amateur riders and professionals. He is by the 'Super Stallion' Vivaldi.
Viceroy inherits many of these qualities and a fantastic hind leg through his wonderful dam line. He is a half brother to Seagry Danita (Embryo Transfer by D'Egalite) who was awarded an Elite Premium and was one of the highest graded foals in the UK in 2017.
